It’s Friday afternoon, so there’s got to be some insane local campaign news out there, right?

Ah, yes, this will do just fine: Freeman Klopott reports in the Examiner that Vince Gray returned to his Hillcrest home last night to find four copies of The Otherside — the magazine published by Peaceaholics which depicted Gray as a vampire in its most recent issue — stuck in his storm door in the shape of an “X.” Ooooooooh. I can only imagine what Gray’s reaction was when he found the magazines; you know, other than just throwing them away.

Gray, who met with the Examiner’s editorial board today, called the politicization of Peaceaholics “ill advised.”
