MPD is looking for a bicyclist that hit an elderly couple in an alley off of the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue NW, near the Washington Convention Center, Friday morning. The man and woman, both in their 70s, were struck by a man riding a BMX-style bike designed for dirt roads and motocross. Both victims were taken to an area hospital; the man is listed in critical condition. The suspect is described as having black hair, and wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. Police are offering an $1,000 reward for information that leads to the biker’s arrest.
