Former Jim Graham chief of staff Ted Loza pled guilty this afternoon to two charges of accepting gratuities and one charge of filing a false statement. Mike DeBonis reports that two of the counts are felony charges and that Loza, who will be sentenced on May 12, will face 8 to 14 months in federal prison and possible deporation. (Loza is an Ecuadorian who is a permanent resident.) Loza’s lawyer apparently told Washington City Paper reporter Rend Smith that the plea is “not a cooperation deal.”
