Five literally hot ladies and one dude took to the streets in front of the downtown Macy’s department store this afternoon to protest fur farms. On the complete other end of the spectrum from an “I’d rather go naked than wear fur” demonstration, the six were draped in fur to make the point that furry animals suffer during the summer months when confined in cages in their natural coats, as well as during their deaths. The protest was staged by PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
