While the rest of us were bunkering in on Saturday to attend to a long-neglected Netflix queue, this unnamed Tomb Sentinel with the Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery was simply taking his tour of duty, guarding the Tomb of the Unknowns while Hurricane Irene pelted the region with heavy winds and rainfall.
