Because, for some sick reason, we’re unable to turn away from the story of competitive eater Joey Chestnut downing two gallons of Ben’s Chili Bowl chili over the weekend, here’s video of an interview with Mr. Chestnut after he won.

“It’s the same way as like a marathon runner, or anyone who’s pushing their body,” said Chestnut of his performance. Then, between a wet blech, he described himself as “tired and full” and admitted that the “really delicious” chili was sure to make him “sweat like a madman.”

We’re just amazed that the guy was able to stand up.
