A 54-year-old woman recently walked into Georgetown University Hospital, claiming that she could not remember anything that happened in the 24 hours since she had an orgasm. After ruling out drug use, brain injuries and a stroke, doctors concluded that the woman’s climax had given her Transient Global Amnesia — in other words, the sex was so good, her brain temporarily stopped working.
