Breaking, incredibly important Friday afternoon news from the National Zoo: the Zoo’s adorable ferret kit has now been named Rosebud, which should at least meet the approval of one of our commenters. (The name is “for one of 19 sites, the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota, where captive-bred black-footed ferrets are released.”) You can watch Rosebud scamper — and come on, who doesn’t want to do that — on the Zoo’s ferret cam.
