D.C. police are still looking for two people in connection to an early morning shooting at the Columbia Heights IHOP on Sunday that left a man injured, writes WJLA.
Witnesses have told police that an argument between two men—possibly over a woman—started in the restaurant around 6:30 a.m., during which one of the men pulled a gun and shot the other in the chest. The shooting victim remains in the hospital in critical condition. Two people fled the scene and are being sought by police:
Police say the man and woman who are ‘persons of interest’ were last seen walking eastbound on Irving Street.
The suspects are described as a black male and black female. The man is described as standing 6-foot-1 wearing green pants, while the female is only described as having a light complexion with a heavy build.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (202) 727-9099.
