Times New Viking have been rocking faces off since 2004. The band out of Columbus, Ohio originally signed with Siltbreeze Records but then jumped to Matador for a two-album punch of lo-fi garage rock. Last year the band moved again, this time to Merge, and released their fifth full-length album, Dancer Equired, cleaning up some of their earlier noise and moving into a point of maturity. Today’s song of the day, “Ever Falling in Love” is a slow-burning highlight from the LP.

Times New Viking plays Rock and Roll Hotel with their idols from New Zealand, The Clean, on Thursday, and by some chance of fate tickets are still available!
