The Washington Nationals’ game tonight against the Detroit Tigers has been postponed due to rain, the team said. The game, featuring what many pre-season prognosticators picked as a World Series match-up, has been rescheduled for Thursday at 4:05 p.m.
The Nationals’ starting pitchers will remain in their normal rotation, MASN’s Dan Kolko reports. Jordan Zimmermann, who has a 5-1 record and hasn’t permitted a run in 18 innings, will start for the Nats tomorrow night, while Dan Haren will go Thursday afternoon.
Tickets for tonight’s game will be valid for Thursday.
