Usually, if you want to get your hands on a small, recreational explosive device, you need to leave the District and visit one of Virginia or Maryland’s small businesses. But not this week. With July 4 coming up, the District’s annual crop of pop-up fireworks vendors is appearing.

The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs has licensed 47 shops, spread across wards 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8. Of course, D.C.’s stands don’t actually sell the heaviest pyrotechnics like cherry bombs. But for your Sparkler and bottle rocket needs, you just need to consult this map from DCRA:
