For the first time, kayaks are now available to be rented for a trip down the Anacostia River.

Ballpark Boathouse, located at First Street SE near Nationals Park, soft opened last weekend, as Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner David Garber reported for The Hill Is Home. The rental shop, which is owned by the same company that runs the Key Bridge Boathouse (R.I.P. Jack’s Boathouse), will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the weekend. A grand opening is planned for later this summer, according to Garber.

According to its website, a single kayak at Ballpark Boathouse costs $15 per hour, while a double kayak costs $20 per hour. You can even bring your dog along for the ride.
