The battle between Uber and the D.C. Taxicab Commission has been going on for so long now, it’s easy to forget how this whole thing started. Luckily, Reason Magazine has distributed this short documentary, directed by Rob Montz and produced by Beutler Ink, chronicling the entire history.

The documentary, titled Uber Wars, features all of your favorite characters: There’s DCTC Chairman Ron Linton, Councilmembers Tommy Wells (D-Ward 6) and Mary Cheh (D-Ward 3), Washington Post’s Mike DeBonis, and even former DCist Editor-in-Chief Ben Freed makes a cameo.
