Attention, panda-loving people: The Red Line will be shut down for track work between Woodley Park and Metro Center this weekend during Bao Bao’s debut at the National Zoo.

While the Woodley Park station will be open, riders coming from Glenmont will have to board a bus to reach the station. The L2 bus is also an option for people who insist on using public transportation.

The panda house will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m from January 18 to January 20. After that, Bao Bao will be available for looking at by the general public after 10 a.m.
