If you haven’t been following DCision2014 too closely, but are interested in learning more about the candidates in the various races for the April 1 primary, you should probably go to tonight’s forum at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue.

Tonight’s forum — which is being co-hosted by DC for Democracy, DC Jobs with Justice, Fair Budget Coalition, Jews United for Justice, DC Working Families, and Restaurant Opportunities Center of Washington, D.C. — will not only include a mayoral candidate debate, but also forums for the At-Large Council candidates (Anita Bonds, Nate Bennett-Fleming, Pedro Rubio, and John Settles), Ward 1 candidates (Jim Graham, Brianne Nadeau, and Bryan Weaver), and Ward 6 (Charles Allen and Darrel Thompson).

For the mayoral forum, the confirmed candidates attending include Councilmembers Vincent Orange (D-At Large) and Tommy Wells (D-Ward 6), as well as Reta Lewis and Andy Shallal. Mayor Vincent Gray will also be participating in tonight’s forum. No word on if any of the other mayoral candidates will be attending, but you never know who’s just going to show up!

Tonight’s forum kicks off at 6:30 p.m., starting with Ward 1, followed by debates between Ward 6, At-Large, and mayoral candidates. No tickets necessary.
