Just a friendly reminder that if you see more twenty-somethings than normal this week, don’t panic: they’re just here for the first annual Millennial Week, that thing that you are powerless to do anything about, so just roll with it, I guess.

Beginning today and lasting until Sunday, the organizers of Millennial Week, a Mayor Gray-endorsed conference that aims to “[celebrate] the social, cultural, political and entrepreneurial contributions of the Millennial generation,” are hosting a series of events throughout the week. Here’s what’s planned for the week:

Monday: Millennial Week cocktail reception.

Tuesday: A millennial political town hall and reception.

Wednesday: The millennial’s entrepreneur’s forum.

Thursday: A millennial food and wine tasting.

Saturday: Millennial day of service.

Sunday: Millennial brunch.

At tonight’s opening reception, they’ll announce who wins the prestigious title of “Millennial of the Year.” The twelve finalists were announced earlier today and includes the founders of Union Kitchen, Bitches Who Brunch, and others. You can see the full list of finalists here.

Anyway, enjoy Millennial Week, or something.
