First days can be really tough. Just ask the White House communications intern who fainted at her first press briefing today.

According to a pool report, the brand new intern — whose name was not released, thank god — was attending her first White House briefing with a group of other interns. Press Secretary Josh Earnest, who started on Monday, and Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz brought her water, while an aide gave her M&Ms. Per the report:

The intern told me she had been feeling “faint” earlier, but didn’t skip lunch so wasn’t sure why.

If you want to see video of what is truly a memorable first day, have at it. We’re just going to sit her and be grateful that our bad first days weren’t caught on camera.
