The Rose’s Luxury hype isn’t just local—Bon Appetit magazine has named it the hottest new restaurant in the country.

In their annual list of the ten hottest restaurants of the year, the Barracks Row restaurant—which everyone can’t seem to get enough of—came in at the number one spot, with Bon Appetit’s Andrew Knowlton writing that “Rose’s isn’t just in the restaurant business; it’s in the making-people-happy business. If that feels like a revelation in dining, it should. It did to me, and it’s why Rose’s tops our list of this year’s best new restaurants.”

Knowlton spent 12 hours shadowing Rose’s chef/owner Aaron Silverman in June, which led to the magazine giving it top accolades. After his time spent with Silverman, Knowlton wrote that “people go out to eat for all kinds of reasons. Some for the dishes, some for the service, and some just because a food magazine told them to. But at the end of the day, everyone goes back to the place they enjoyed the most. The place that is actually, you know, fun. Silverman’s understanding of this is nothing short of a culinary revolution.”

Rose’s was selected out of a nominee pool of 50, which also included three of Derek Brown’s hot spots, Eat the Rich, Southern Efficiency, and Mockingbird Hill, which were rolled into one restaurant, for one reason or another. Anyway, congratulations Rose’s Luxury!
