The sad news: Summer is coming to an end, and D.C. public pools are closing. But that also means that the Department of Parks and Recreation’s Doggie Day Swim is fast approaching.

This year’s event will take place on September 6 at Randall, Upshur and Francis pools. As always, dogs must have a valid city license and be current on vaccinations. More information can be found here.

Nine outdoor pools are already closed for the season, and seven more will close after this Sunday. See a schedule here and below.
