If you’re reading this and currently en route to board a Red Line train: don’t. Find some other way to get where you need to go. WMATA says that Red Line trains are single-tracking between the Van Ness-UDC and Dupont Circle stations due to a cracked rail near the Dupont station.
Predictably, it’s led to a lot of this:
