Over the weekend, Drake, a Pop Star That People Have Strong Opinions About, celebrated his birthday in D.C. And a celebration it must have been, as he capped off the night by generously donating a wad of cash to the people of D.C. outside of Stadium Club. Thanks, Drake!
TMZ reports that, sometime late Saturday night/early Sunday morning, Drake was videotaped “carrying what looked like thousands of bucks” outside of the club. He was overwhelmed by how wonderful D.C. is that he decided to throw that wad of cash everywhere, probably saying “oh my God, you guys are wonderful! I hope you get statehood soon!” Yes, he definitely did it out of generosity, not because he was mad at someone and looking like he wanted a fight. There were also reports that the birthday boy started out his big weekend at Z-Burger in Columbia Heights on Saturday:
Someone needs to do some investigative reporting to find out how Drake came about dining at Z-Burger on his bday.
