It’s no secret that Capital Bikeshare membership is growing. Not only is its membership growing larger, but they’re becoming more older, whiter, and richer. But where are most people using Bikeshare? District, Measured—the city’s Office of Revenue Analysis blog—took info from Capital Bikeshare’s latest survey results and, along with program data since it launched, created this nifty interactive map that visualizes the traffic at each station.

According to their data, District, Measure found that the location with the most use is the one at Massachusetts Avenue and Dupont Circle NW, with an average of 9,751 trips. Compare that to the station with the least amount of traffic, at Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue and 49th Street NE, which averaged a mere nine trips per month. Nine (9) trips.

The survey results and program data also wielded some fairly obvious observations about the habit of Bikeshare uses. For example, arrival and departure data by station shows that Bikeshare traffic generally flows from residential areas to commercial areas.

You can take a look at all the Bikeshare data here.
