Save $16 on finding your inner ball-pit sourced bliss during Ward Days at the BEACH, the National Building Museum’s summer exhibition.

On select days, the all-white scene will open an hour early just for residents of individual wards before letting the general public in. The free hours for ward residents last between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., and you’ll have to prove your residency with a District ID.

Here are the days, and corresponding Councilmember, for the remainder of schedule (Ward 1 already had their turn on July 21).

July 28 – Councilmember Evans, Ward 2
August 4 – Councilmember May, Ward 8
August 5 – Councilmember Alexander, Ward 7
August 11 – Councilmember McDuffie, Ward 5
August 18 – Councilmember Cheh, Ward 3
August 25 – Councilmember Todd, Ward 4
September 1 – Councilmember Allen, Ward 6

The exhibit is slated to stay up until Labor Day and costs $16 for adults and $13 for kids with admission to galleries.
