The Secret Service arrested a man outside of the White House for using a slingshot to shoot a small object over the north fence line.

Secret Service Public Information Officer Nicole Mainor describes the object as “a pellet.”

The man, Adam S. Olson, was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault of a police officer.

According to ABC News, this isn’t Olson’s first run-in with the Secret Service recently. He was arrested on September 5 for allegedly breaking a U.S. Capitol Building window, the replacement of which would cost between $15,000 and $60,000. According to court records, Olson said he had a listening device on him and “people have been laughing at me for years. I am sick of it,” according to court records, ABC reported.

At that time Olson received a “stay away” order that prevented him from being on or near the Capitol campus. However, he was still permitted near the White House and other federal land.

“We do track offenders,” says Mainor, though she declined to give further details.

As of 7 p.m. last night, Olson remained in police custody.
