Maybe we spoke too soon about toasting to the warm weather.

Of the 2.5 million people fleeing the D.C. region this holiday season, 132,100 plan to travel by air according to AAA Mid-Atlantic. And as it turns out, this week’s surge in temperatures has brought rain and fog to the Northeast, causing nearly 200 flight delays this morning in Boston, New York and D.C., the Associated Press reported.

In the D.C. region, dreary weather conditions have resulted in almost one dozen canceled flights and nearly one hundred flight delays.

As of 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, two flights out of Washington Dulles Airport were cancelled, and 15 flights were delayed; eight flights out of Reagan National Airport were canceled and 43 were delayed; and one flight out of Baltimore/Washington International Airport was cancelled and 32 were delayed, according to flight tracking site FlightAware.

The site also has a “misery map” to track your delays—way to make things better.

On the bright side though, if you’re flying with United, the airline has a few pups to comfort your weary and impatient soul.

According to AAA’s Leisure Travel Index, airfares for the top 40 domestic flight routes average at $174 round trip—that’s six percent lower this holiday season. That’s great—now we just have to get up in the air.
