For me, the best thing about holidays is free curbside parking in the city, plus Metro offers free garage parking and off-peak fares. And with millions of people fleeing the region this holiday season, Christmas Day is the perfect time to snag a free space. Where will you end up, you ask? Below, find a list of things to do tomorrow.

Meanwhile, here are some bars that are open today to get the party started.

Donate: The D.C. Jewish Community Center (1529 16th Street NW) is accepting donations of used clothing before noon. You can also go the extra mile and register to volunteer for the center’s Christmas day of service. Online registration is closed, but you can sign up on-site tomorrow between 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Blossom: The U.S. Botanic Garden (100 Maryland Avenue SW) will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Day. This year’s holiday exhibit is called Pollination Station and it features “oversized flowers, bees and butterflies” in a “scenic wonderland.” The conservatory also houses one of the largest indoor decorated trees in the city, a showcase of poinsettias, D.C. landmarks made from plants, and more.

Take a tour: Complete with holiday decor, check out George Washington’s Mount Vernon estate (3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway, Mount Vernon, Va.). You can tour the mansion’s third floor, watch historic chocolate-making demonstrations, meet Aladdin the Camel, and more. Tickets are $17.

Listen to an organist: The National Cathedral (3101 Wisconsin Avenue NW) hosts its annual Christmas Day Organ Recital at 4:30 p.m. Organist Benjamin Straley will play traditional and familiar holiday favorites on the Cathedral’s great organ. Prior to becoming the Cathedral’s organist and associate director of music, Straley was an Organ Scholar at Trinity Church (Episcopal), New Haven, and the Director of Music for the Episcopal Church at Yale. $10 recommended donation.

Or groove to some jazz: In its 17th year, the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage hosts its All-Star Christmas Day Jazz Jam. The concert features host/vibraphonist Chuck Redd, drummer Lenny Robinson, trumpeter Tom Williams, bassist James King, and vocalist Delores Williams. Check out last year’s performance to get in the mood.

See a flick: We recommend The Big Short and Carol, both will be in theaters tomorrow. Plus, here are some other movie (and food) options from The Post.
