Demolition work at the former Washington Post building on 15th and L streets NW was permitted to take place 24 hours a day for the better part of last winter, and this video spans from April 21 to August 29, according to the video’s description.

Carr Properties broke ground on a new building it’s calling “Midtown Center” on May 12 of this year. Fannie Mae signed a lease to move in once the building is finished, consolidating national headquarters downtown.

Midtown Center will have two office towers with a plaza in between, and construction is scheduled to be completed by June of 2018.
