When the D.C. Board of Elections decided to combine two precincts at one polling place in Ward 4, they sent out mailers to affected voters but neglected to update their website with the change.

That left several people in front of Mt. Rona Church instead of several blocks east at the Raymond Recreation Center. The website has since been updated.

“When precincts are combined in one location it’s typically a temporary issue,” says DCBOEE spokeswoman Tamara Robinson. Precincts 88 and 89 were also combined at Eastern Market and precincts 98 and 99 where combined at Smothers Elementary.
