The National Cathedral is offering services today in an attempt at healing and reconciliation. The first service already took place at 7:30 a.m., but a second got underway at noon and a third will happen at 5:30 p.m.
“Bishop Mariann Budde and Dean Randy Hollerith invite us to pray together for reconciliation among one another and the nation. Come together with others to find common ground within our faith to move us forward as one body and one nation,” the National Cathedral said in a statement. All are welcome.
Hillary Clinton closed out her moving concession speech with the following guidance from Galatians 6:9: “Let us have faith in each other. Let us not grow weary. Let us not lose heart. For there are more seasons to come and…more work to do.”
