Hundreds of high school students hit the streets in Montgomery County today to protest Donald Trump’s presidency.
Students walked out of Montgomery Blair High School around 10:30 a.m., according to Fox 5, which live-streamed the demonstration on Facebook. About a half hour later, students from Northwood High School joined Blair students as they marched down University Boulevard, Bethesda Beat reported.
Students chanted “not my president!” from the parking deck of Montgomery Mall before continuing down Georgia Avenue to Veterans Square in downtown Silver Spring where they broke up just before 2 p.m., according to Richard Reeve of ABC.
The protest also gained attention on Twitter.
