The longtime practice of tricking people into clicking on Rick Astley’s late-80’s hit “Never Gonna Give You Up” is a bait-and-switch that has fooled me countless times, much to my delight. But now, the 9:30 Club is offering the chance for a special, in-person Rickrolling this Valentine’s Day. Tickets went on sale this morning.

Imagine telling your lover you’ve got a big surprise for them on this pressure-filled day of romance. Let their imagination run wild. Then, take them to the 9:30 Club, get on one knee, and pull out a ring box filled with two gleaming Rick Astley tickets. Rickrolled!

Astley came out with a new album, 50, this August. He took a cue from another British singer, Adele, in naming it after his age. “Truth to be told, I was not expecting [to have] the Number One album in the U.K., so I thought, ‘It’s not like anyone’s even going to necessarily notice it,'” he explained to Rolling Stone.

He’s the first to admit that the popular meme-ing of “Never Gonna Give You Up” is both bizarre and beneficial. “What I’ve always tried to take from it is it just happened and it could’ve been anybody’s song,” he told Billboard. “They just needed a cheesy video from the ’80s, where some guy’s wearing a raincoat. That’s how I looked at it. And it’s been good to me.”

Rick Astley is playing the 9:30 Club at 7 p.m. on February 14, 2017. Tickets are going for $35.
