Our next commander-in-chief has no military experience thanks to five draft deferments. Nonetheless, President-elect Donald Trump continued the tradition of kicking off inauguration activities with a somber wreath laying ceremony at Arlington Ceremony’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier this afternoon.
Trump arrived this afternoon with his wife Melania—along with Donald Jr., Eric, and Ivanka Trump and their families—on a military plane at Joint Base Andrews this afternoon. The president-elect then headed to the International Trump Hotel on Pennsylvania Ave. to speak at a luncheon for the leadership of his Presidential Inaugural Committee.
Next up on the agenda of the soon-to-be leader of the free world: a Toby Keith and 3 Doors Down concert.
