Five Metro stations—New Carrollton, Landover, Cheverly, Deanwood, and Minnesota Ave—will remain closed this weekend as part of SafeTrack’s 15th surge, causing Orange Line trains to run every 16 minutes between Vienna and Largo Town Center only this weekend.

The 15th surge runs through June 15. Then the maintenance program’s final surge will shutter Shady Grove and Rockville stations from June 17 through June 25— which is the same day that fare hikes, shorter hours, and service cuts go into effect.

But as for this weekend, Silver, Blue, Yellow, and Green Line trains are also running every 16 minutes. Red Line riders have the longest wait times at 18 minutes.
