Update: This D.C. fat cat found a home.
Original: We’re not ones to body shame, but boy, is this a large cat.
Meet 6-year-old Symba, a 35-pound cat up for adoption with Humane Rescue Alliance. The animal welfare organization posted some photos of him, noting that staff have never seen a feline with a figure quite like his.
While Symba is, shall we say, quite round for now, it looks like Humane Rescue is starting him on a strict exercise regimen. “Our big guy Symba is already on his path to a healthy life,” the organization tweeted. “The Biggest Loser: Cat Edition begins today!”
