Tourist Sues Starbucks After Daughter Found Camera In Bathroom
Starbucks is being sued in D.C. Superior Court -- but it has nothing to do with its expensive, burnt tasting coffee. WTOP reports that a Norfolk, Virginia man is suing the company after his daughter found a video camera installed inside one of the two unisex bathrooms at the Starbucks near the entrance to the Archives Metro station.

Metro To Install More Security Cameras
Better perfect that smile: Metro announced this morning that they've won a $2.8 million grant which will be used to install 153 "very high quality color" surveillance cameras at the entrances to Metro stations, reports the Examiner. According to Metro Transit Police Chief Michael Taborn, "most" of the system's stations will be covered by the new cameras, and they will be installed over the next six months.
DC9 Able To Reopen On December 15
Based on reports from a hearing held this afternoon, DC9 -- thanks in part to a large security upgrade -- has been deemed to have resolved a "threat of imminent danger," clearing the way for the club to reopen. DC9 will be permitted to reopen as early as December 15 provided it meets certain conditions, such as providing employees with security training and ensuring DC9 co-owner Joe Englert doesn't employ the five men initially charged in the death of Ali Ahmed Mohammed at any of his D.C. establishments until at least January 19.
