Love documentary film? If so, you're in luck. The National Archives has teamed up with the Guggenheim Center for the Documentary Film and the Academy of Motion Picture to present all of the 2005 Oscar-nominated documentaries and short films for free in their William G. McGowan Theater.

Film enthusiasts interested in the American Western might want to clear their schedules for a few nights over the next week. Films on the Hill, a project of the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop will begin tomorrow a weeklong series of four films spanning the history of this film genre. Each of the screenings start at 7 p.m. and are presented in 16mm.
