When Capitol Hill Bikes announced in November that they'd be closing their doors, the entire neighborhood was left with the prospect of not having a good bike shop anywhere nearby. But now it seems that the shop will re-open, and only steps from its old location. Cycling blogger Money N Stuff reports that Capitol Hill Bikes will be setting up shop at 719 Eighth Street SE, literally a few storefronts down from the spot they just abandoned. Capitol Hill Bikes sent out an email to its customers on Thursday announcing that the store has lost its lease and must liquidate its entire inventory while it searches for a new location. The cycling store has been located at 709 8th Street SE for about a decade. more ›
