What's with the mass exodus of local news personnel from WUSA Channel 9 to WJLA Channel 7? First, it was weather man Doug Hill who defected a few years back, then news anchor Maureen Bunyan. Now, 35 year WUSA veteran Gordon Peterson is leaving the Channel 9 organization next week to join rival WJLA, Channel 7. Our source at WJLA tells DCist that staffers, anchors and higher ups at the station are "very excited" about Peterson's arrival. more ›
