Community Meets to Discuss Eastern Market

Several hundred citizens turned out on Monday evening in support of the effort to quickly rebuild Eastern Market, and to share their feelings on a temporary location for the displaced vendors. Last Chance to Join our Servathon Team: Updated

UPDATE: You guys are fantastic! We've made it way over our goal of $2000, but don't let that stop you. The money goes to a great cause, so let's see how high we can raise the bar. Join Us for Servathon 2007

We know that despite the grumbling, despite the lack of voting rights, despite the indie rock neighborhood battles to the death, even despite the fashion sense or lack thereof, you guys love this town just as much as we do. This year, Servathon hopes to raise $400,000 and provide 11,000 volunteer hours fixing up the community. more ›
