We got a couple reports of a huge crowd of people gathered around Thomas Circle this morning, but by the time we got down there, no such crowd could be seen. A helpful security guard at 1120 Vermont Ave. NW filled us in that there was a fire drill in the large office building shortly after the work day began, so that probably explains the gathering.
