Dismemberment Plan Reunion Tour Tickets Go On Sale At Noon

If you're like us, you're probably pretty excited about the Dismemberment Plan's upcoming reunion tour, which will hit both the Black Cat and the 9:30 Club in late January 2011. (If you haven't yet taken the time to read our updated Secret History feature about the making of D-Plan's legendary Emergency & I, now seems like a good time to get on that.) Tickets for both the January 21 show at the Cat and the January 22 show at 9:30 are $20. Here's the website to visit when noon rolls around -- good luck. more ›

Jawbox Reunion Concert Unlikely

Jawbox Reunion Concert Unlikely

Looks like bad news on the possible Jawbox reunion show front. Sean Cannon over at Buzz Grinder checked back in with frontman J. Robbins after news broke earlier this month that the legendary '90s band will perform on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in December. The planned television appearance will coincide with the re-release of Jawbox's 1994 major label debut, For Your Own Special Sweetheart, which naturally led to speculation about whether they would also reunite for some local shows.
