Veteran weatherman Bob Ryan is set to premiere on WJLA/ABC7 during the 11 p.m. newscast tonight, his first broadcast on a channel other than WRC/NBC4 in about three decades.

FOX 5 Weatherman Tony Perkins had guaranteed no rain for this past Labor Day weekend, or he would eat a sock. As you probably are aware, his prediction fell short, and this morning he consumed a sock sprinkled with the regional seasoning of choice, Old Bay. Even worse, it was a sock that he had brought from home, laundered, but used nonetheless.
