Feds: Bush Targeted by Virginia Valedictorian
Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, a Northern Virginia high school valedictorian was charged today in federal court with conspiring to assassinate President Bush. Abu Ali, 23, was a Falls Church resident and graduated from the Islamic Saudi Academy in Alexandria. D.C. Settles With Pershing Park Protesters
In more protest news, seven of the 400+ protesters unlawfully arrested in Pershing Park during the September 2002 protests against the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank reached a settlement with the District of Columbia today in federal court.
