While the HBO lobbying docudrama “K Street” got high marks for its originality and concept, it seemed to have been of interest to only a handful of devoted followers inside the Beltway (lobbyists and Hill policy wonks, mainly, with a smattering of the celebrity politician and media types who got cameos throughout the series). And then they got bored with it and HBO did away with the series. But now you can watch the entire series on DVD.
DCist finds it amusing that there are still ads for “K Street” from last year’s original ad blitz around town. And apparently the Sports Club LA at the West End Ritz Carlton has not recovered from the lack of gawkers ever since George Clooney left town after the series was canned.
