Film enthusiasts interested in the American Western might want to clear their schedules for a few nights over the next week. Films on the Hill, a project of the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop will begin tomorrow a weeklong series of four films spanning the history of this film genre. Each of the screenings start at 7 p.m. and are presented in 16mm.
Things get started tomorrow at 7 p.m. with When the Daltons Rode (1940). This Friday, Aug. 20 is Dallas (1950). Things wrap up next Wednesday, Aug. 25 with a silent double feature: Trailin’ (1921) and The Fighting Legion (1930).
