Two metrobuses hit the streets today “wrapped” with advertisements covering everything except the windows. The ads, which cost $5,000 per month, were purchased by Juniper Networks, an IT company with offices in Tysons Corner.

In addition WMATA riders can expect to see more ads on metrorail as well. Officials told the AP ads covering rail cars will come “in a month or two,” and the AP notes WMATA’s board has also approved “installing televisions in trains and buses, playing silent commercials in train tunnels and installing automatic teller machines in rail stations.”
