The Post reports that Ben Wetmore, a student who runs an American University blog/news site, has been annoying the university’s president, Ben Ladner, so much, that he is taking action to shut it down. But the president may have good reason for the blog has his name, BenLadner.com.

“Confusion exists about this Web site,” said attorney Sherri N. Blount. Visitors to the site “think it’s the official Web site of the president of American University, but it’s not.” …

Yet legal experts say Ladner could have a much harder time asserting his right to the domain that bears his name. To put it bluntly, he may not be famous enough.

The Post reports that BenLadner.com has “virtually no money.” But Ladner’s attorney makes the arguement that the site does attempt to attract advertising.
