C-SPAN has partnered with several cable operators to offer “on-demand” access to the presidential debates. All three presidential debates and the vice presidential debate will be available “on-demand” in select areas. Cox Communications, which serves the Northern Virginia area, already airs 24/7 election coverage on digital cable channel 807. Their website had no mention of the Pay-Per-View debates.
Comcast customers however, can jump for joy. They are indeed offering presidential (and vice presidental) debates On Demand. The debates will be available for two weeks after the initial broadcast under the “Election 2004” section.
