For those who frequent Bethesda, there’s no secret that parking can be a big hassle. Among the gazillion restaurants, there seem to be a gazillion cars trying to navigate Woodmont Avenue and its side streets looking for the rare open street space, or a garage that isn’t full.

The Post details the problem, along with a promising sign that things may get better (an underground lot across the street from the Barnes and Noble is in the works).

In the meantime, Bethesda’s parking problems will remain bad. Remember that you have to pay for parking through 10 p.m., Monday-Saturday. And most spots are only for two hours, enforced by vigilant meter attendants who will record your license plate into a mobile registry.

What are your Bethesda parking secrets? Or do you just take metrorail to get there? (Or, do you go there at all?)
